About Us

Grateful Gatherings is a Bay Area, Berkeley-based, non-profit that provides furniture and household items for individuals and families transitioning from homelessness, poverty or crisis. Since 2013, our community of dedicated volunteers, donors, and partners brings hope to families in need. Grateful Gatherings transforms empty apartments or houses into fully-furnished “homes” where families can thrive. To date, Grateful Gatherings has provided 2,000 children and adults with a place to call home.
